The Great War 1914-1918: Clash of Empires
-
Oh goodo. I will post more pics
-
I am intrigued, please keep us up to date with more pics and the Map!
-
-
WOW!!!

IL,
Awesome! RR guns and Destroyers are really cool. Artillery looks like WWI Artillery. Tried to zoom in and see what type of Dreadnoughts you have created but was not able to.
Keep up the excellent work, Can’t wait to get several copies of your game for myself.

IL,
––These sculps look great! They need to be in order to play on a map
of the quality YOU create. Like everyone else,…I’m anxiously awaiting it’s release.
Thanks for your effort so far.“Tall Paul”

The map was originally made by me, but i hired one of the all time great map artists to spruce the art up. He will be revealed soon.
We spare no expense for quality.
-
Looks very interesting!
-
WOW imperious this looks impressive. How do you plan on selling the game? Could I buy it at Cool stuff or would I go directly to you. I get the feeling you have put a lot more time into this game than say the new 1914 coming out by Larry. I rarely get excited about variants or homemade type of games but this looks really cool. What about a release date? Any idea?
-
Yes it is a real game available at all retailers. Only not places like Target or big box retailers.
-
IL,
––Will you be making the American “4-Piper” Destroyers? I truly hope so as they were quite distinctive,…all the way up through WWII.
----I’d really “jump for joy” if you did because that would allow me to modify some into the APD’s that were re-built in WWII specifically to transport the US Marine Raiders(below). Hey,…I think the guy on the right is trying to thumb a ride(Grin).“Tall Paul”

yes.
––This looks like it will be a GREAT GAME in and of itself.
––And what a bonus when it will provide some “4-Piper” Destroyers that can be modified into WWII-era APD “Fast Attack Transports” (see below) for my Marine Raiders. These were the famous “Green Dragons”.
––Thanks for your time in responding so quickly.
----Does Doug, the “Coach” at HBG have these Games for sale yet? Is he also going to have additional pieces available separately?
––Is this game available online? Can someone inform me where I might purchase it in NorthEast Texas / NorthWest Louisiana?“Tall Paul”

http://www.mediafire.com/view/?5zd67wbv8777vx7No release date has been set. Deliberately and expect the announcement in 4 months for a fall release ( if not sooner)

Pieces look amazing! Cant wait to get my hands on this game.
I do have a couple of questions though. If you are not allowed to disclose this information, no worries, I understand. But please keep us posted if you can.
Compared to A&A games that are out now, what is the complexity of the game.
Any hint on colours for the nations? I’m assuming grey for Germany, blue for France, green for America. Hopefully Russia is not a shade of brown or red. White would be best, as ottomans should be red. Austria-Hungary should be yellow or black. Uk and Italy should be same as A&A tan and brown respectively.
-
Austro- Hungary is light grey
Ottomans are a reddish color
Russia will be a sorta light brown
Italy is a light green
the rest you got. -
IL,
––I’ll wait as patiently as I can. You can consider me a definate sell already. Please keep us informed as I imagine many of the A&A.Org gang would also be interested in buying some of these games.
----One Question (IF you’re allowed to answer it). Do you plan on these being available through HBG, and would ADDITIONAL pieces be available separately?
––Thanks for your time and effort in this project.

How many spaces between Switzerland and Belgium?
I hope more than 3 or 4
-
The shortest route is 2 spaces: Alsace Lorraine is between them ( German control).
If you go thru only French areas the count is 3
Do you plan on these being available through HBG, and would ADDITIONAL pieces be available separately?
Hopefully yes. The producer has to make that decision and i advocate that he does that.
