Too many people have bugged me since 2010 on working up a Global 1940 map file so here it is soon, as in 1-2 days tops.
This is the one you want to get, 40x90 for both maps. That would be about 25% larger than the OOB combined map maintaining the same ratio specs.
My best work for you land lovers.
I am 98% done with Pacific, working on Europe which is 90% done.
The key things is the coastline cartography will look as it does, especially the islands, Norway, etc.
Then i will i suppose work on set up sheets to reflect the new positions of 2nd edition.

YAY!
Thanks for doing all that for me. :)
I guess we’re Pals?
+1 from me, IL (I guess this post didn’t add much, except for my post count)

Here you go good citizens. Enjoy it. Reworking the Europe side and should have the complete file for combined and separate in 7 days.
The file says 40 x 44, but it is 40 x 45, the combined map will be 40 x 90 so build your tables for it with that in mind.
OK note: let me know if the PDF says “you don’t have Franklin-Gothic Heavy font” or something like that. The font is specific and if any error cue prompts let me know. I can fix that.
@Imperious:
Already noticed one glitch, the pictures on low right corner are messed up.
Uhu, a glitch, thats not good, now I just may have to smite you pal, no offense
The file is the latest, glitches fixed.

Sorry that the file changes, but i want it perfect so i make more changes.
I can’t get your links to open - it just acts like its loading but nothing happens :(
Can you wait longer? I test them and they work.
Just try that. Also, is their any prompt that says you don’t have the font type needed?
Did it say "Temporarily Unavailable?
Im checking into this. I think it is a Mediafire issue.
OK this will work. Download to desktop, rather than just try to open the file from Mediafire.

It seems to only let me download links to mediafire to my desktop - there is just an e-link there to each map. Then at mediafire a blue line appears and moves across as the file loads. Then it gets to the end of the load line and stops. It has been like that for 20 minutes. I really want to see this!
Ok i will find another site for upload and post here.
BTW that picture above is the old original file, improvements have been made!

try the link above, it is for Europe side of map. Also, make sure you got PDF viewer updated so you can view.
If this works i will upload the Pacific side.

It worked and it rocks! Pacific side please!
One suggestion I have is remove the mobilization zone. Reasoning is:
Perhaps you could make the mobilization zone available to print on cardstock separately.
I like how you marked the map edge seazones! I will check it over with my new Global 40 SE maps after getting pacific side.
One suggestion I have is remove the mobilization zone. Reasoning is:
- The map is so big only one player would actually be able to put his purchased units on it.
- This way any future unit/price changes or house rules will not make the map obsolete
Point #2 is good. I might just do it.

Ok yes
