Well we got the game in finally after at least 14 months as a group. The Axis conceited on turn 7.
Germany did take Moscow with 12 tanks left and Russian fighters retreated so they would have some kind of air power to defend Stalingrad and maybe do an attack here or there.
In the mean time Germany wolf packs with sub interdiction NA kept UK from building a Navy for the extra turn or 2 so he could blitz to Moscow and delay US invasion.
But then UK and US liberated Paris and then did a joint strike on West Germany and taking it. Germany did retake but only has 1 tank there before his placement buys. But axis conceived as of then based on Japan could not help based on losing 3 victory cities.
In the mean time Italy was making good money and at times had all 3 island group NOs for 15
Icps with 1 bonus victory point for control of all 7 islands in Med.
On the Pacific side looks like Japan didn’t get the oil money Dutch islands soon enough and the US with Anzacs help was able to hold HK and get back Manila and Singapore denying an axis win. It also looks like Japan was going for Hawaii parked up by Alaska but US Hawaii fleet attacked his 3 Carriers and destroyers. SO instead of a Midway battle it was a Alaska battle.
This game Allies can still win losing Moscow and if Germany gets bogged down up to Japan to help get win.
So I’m not here to talk about anybody’s play. It was just great to finally play as a group again and hoped guys enjoyed playing.
Russia was able to hold Stalingrad which was tested in game again. Only thing was Germany just got better dice last round of combat for Moscow other wise he may have had only 6 tanks left or if planes were taken as casualties maybe a few more tanks in Moscow. He had to get planes back for invasions.

The event on May 22nd at the General’s Fortress was a glorious event as always. Per our discussion, it looks like Gopro videos are too big to be uploaded on this forum as we suspected. I will have to edit any videos and post them on youtube.
In the mean time, below is a link to one of the unedited videos which shows the action from the battle of Moscow in time warp speed. A quick one but gives a nice view of the action in the room and your new battle map.

The video looks good. Is/was there sound? I only ask because I don’t have sound on my computer right now. Cat chewed the cord and lived!
Yes it was a great game and a fun time!! Thanks for letting me play FEC and Anzac had a great time doing so. I plan on building a board of my own to look at using Ray’s map and rules… So I can study them at my leisure! Great time all!!

Couple changes to bombers in game.
The stg bomber will be called the Medium Bomber now. It will be

A3@5. First round drop only.
D@2
SBR 1d6
DF@1Stg Bomber

A4@5 First round drop only.
D@3
SBR 1d6+1
DF@2Can hit all facilities.
All facilities have a built in AA gun.
Also UK NA Lancaster bombers if they get go to A4@6
US NA Super bombers is now C12 M7
A5@5 SBR 1d6+2. D@3
Can only start building on turn 4.
Only jet figs can intercept them and AA gun only D@1 against them. -

I honestly think a cost of 8 is way to low for a med. bomber than can do 1-6+1 points of damage to a territory. I mean in the regular game a 15 cost bomber can only do 1-6 points of damage. I think this makes the med. Bomber way to strong.
I also don’t agree that land territories should be able to be bombed. It really only helps the UK bomb France and Europe. It won’t help Germany in bombing the UK. I just don’t see how it helps everyone and equally in any way.
I like intercepters and separating med. bombers and hvy/stg bombers but disagree with all the damage they can do for their cost.

Well only change I made was the H Bomber carpet bombing land based on hitting all kinds of resources. Plus a bit more payload drop.
Ya your probably right with UK bombing land in Europe and knocking Germany income down too much.I’ll remove that rule. I’ll edit my post.
As for Med Bomber that stat has been in game now for 3 years so there will be no change on damage. But I’ll bring up the damage values with group and see if we go to 1d6 and 1d6+1.
