Thanks for the feedback. Most of the rules for the game were crowd sourced from those actually playing an axis and allies style game. The game was never intended to be a historically accurate representation of the American civil war…as are the axis and allies WW2 games. They are themed games. You are welcome to try it out on Steam tabletop simulator if you have it before casting any kind of judgement. It really is a fun game that challenge players. If you want more historically accurate games, you’ll have to look elsewhere.
War Room, Global 1940

The War Room & Game Board Table is designed for two-player games, specialized for Axis & Allies Global 1940 with the G40 House Rules Expansion.
Not visible to the camera are the fireplace & armchairs.
The Dice Towers, unit trays (simple version) & small shelf on the wall are customized (homemade). The small shelf on the wall is for newly purchaised units.
The map is the G40 Siredblood Map Version 1.2 - we bought the map file in 2019. Printed in out-door self-adhesive foil and coated with matt transparent foil for further protection. The War Room is in the back of my basement - so, no disturbances.

Thanks,
I just looked into sired’s 4.0 map. Very interesting.
What about your map - is it for sale? And your rules as well?

Probably free. Just have to get map printed.

@The-Captain Nice war room! I really like your light fixtures, do you recall the name or where you purchased?

Hi @Intrepid,
Thanks,
Most units are from OOB Axis & Allies games - all the way back from Axis & Allies Classic.
Tanks & Trucks are from the US company GHQ Models scale 1:285
Air units are from the UK company Tumbling Dice - scale 1:600.
You can see more pictures on the thread Global 1940 & 1943 Game Reports on this forum - look at the House Rules section.

Hi Joey,
Thanks for your comment - I can confirm, that it has been time consuming to get this far with the Axis & Allies War Room.
But most importantly - it was worth the effort - and we continue to have tons of fun & challenge playing Axis & Allies.
You can find more pictures on this forum at the House Rules section - look for Global 1940 & 1943 Game Reports.
Best regards
Captain
