    I only continued to play this game with you because I thought you had the spirit of the law. You agreed to allow edits before your opponent’s turn or combat rolls. Your combat rolls not mine. The intent of the rule was to allow edits that have no effect on combat. So you don’t edit something because a battle went one way or the other. Did you see the American fighters that landed on Crete instead of the aircraft carrier?

    You said… That’s the other exception to editing. If your opponent has taken their turn an edit is usually not acceptable.

    I wrote… I will agree, for this game only, edits are allowed as long as they meet the following two conditions as proposed by you and agreed to by me:
    1, As soon as a combat roll is made no edits are allowed from any phase previous to said combat roll.
    2. Once Opponent A has posted any portion of their Turn any possible edit(s) from Opponent B’s previous Turns are not allowed.

    Dice have been rolled. Your expression, not mine. Your UK Purchase edit is not allowed per our agreement. Please correct. You MAY redo your UK non-combat move since it occurred after the India dice roll. If you want to land an additional UK fighter on the US carrier that would be an allowed Edit.

    There is no Spirit of the Law here. There is no way any changes should be made after a combat roll. You said that yourself. Your suggestion that only opponents combat rolls count is ludicrous. Combat results, whether your own or your Opponents, definitely can affect the game which is why no edits are allowed after combat rolls. I do not understand why you are pissed off and being argumentative when we have a clear agreement on edits.

    What kind of person am I? I am a good person, that is fair and just and wants to be happy and wants others to be happy too. I am a good citizen and yes, I follow the rules because the only way we can all live together is to have an agreed upon set of rules that we all follow that does not infringe on my or your rights. I look in the mirror every day and feel good about the person I am.

    1. Missteps or mistakes are part of any game. If a wide open receiver in the end zone drops the game winning pass do we all go “Oh, he made a mistake, let him redo it?” No we do not. Playing mistake free is part of the difficulty of any game. I work very hard to not make mistakes and I still do sometimes make mistakes. The difference between you and me is I accept my mistakes and own up to them, learn a lesson, and try not to repeat them instead of whine that I am a victim and need the other person to correct my mistake. I lost a championship game once because I made a stupid mistake. I was NOT irritated with my opponent for taking advantage of my mistake. He should have. I was upset that I made the mistake. Mistakes happen. Why should I not take advantage of your mistakes? Your strategy is not good if you make mistakes. Your entire philosophy is flawed.
    2. Being fair is why not using judgements or discernment is important. I am supposed to give you an edit when it does not affect my winning but not give you one when it does? That would be hypocritical. In your case you are being the hypocrite. You do not ask for an edit if it is small and does not hurt your chances of winning yet suddenly, since you think this mistake will cost you the game, you do want an edit. So only if it affects you and is important do you want an edit and break our agreement and you whine to me that I am not being fair to you. Sheesh.
    3. Though it is really irrelevant to the discussion at hand this game is already over. You have lost. Giving you this edit or not giving you this edit will not change that. If all I cared about was winning or losing I could give you the edit knowing you have already lost just to stop arguing about this. That however WOULD make me a hypocrite and affect my personal integrity so I will not do it. An agreement is an agreement no matter what the current circumstances are.
    4. You said it was just a game and we should both have fun. If it is just a game why do you care so much that you made a mistake even if you think it is going to lose you the game? It is just a game… right? Therefore you should not care. But apparently you do.

    Our agreement is clear and this is getting tiresome arguing with you. Please either:

    1. Revise your UK Turn based on our agreement regarding edits so we can continue.
    2. Ask for a Moderator arbitration decision which I will stand by his decision.

    Let me start by saying I WILL record a win for you if that is the ultimate goal. I dont really want that to be a source of stress for you and this bickering back and forth is growing tiresome. My point, from the time we had our first debate, has been the same and, in all honesty, so has yours.
    Let me address a few things you said:

    1. Yes in a game of football, like in many games, if you make a “mis-step” or a mistake you might loose the game. And thats part of the game and most people understand that. This game, however, I dont like playing like that. I want to focus on the strategy part of it all and I will absolutely allow my opponent to make a correction if they happen to make an absent minded mistake. And its all on a case by case basis. Kind of like in a crime you have two elements Actus raus and mens rea. (I hope your not an attorney). The intent is an important part. In a game of football, no … but in this kind of game I would hope so.

    2. … and yiikes, no personal integrity…thats a little below the belt. But then that goes back to your other point of having rules. Like in boxing the rule is no hitting below the belt and if you do you get penalized. So I understand that and I guess my objective really needs to be to find a like minded player.

    3. You said I had lost the game with or without an edit. Am I really hurting and dont even know it? My experience is limited, but I thought I was actually making some headway. As the Allies you really dont start makeing good progress until round four or so anyway. So did you say that out of anger or because my foothold in Europe and Asia are actually weak?

    4. Your final point was about me saying that this is “just” a game and why do I then care so much. I guess because I put so much time into formulating the strategy for the US and UK and then getting them to work in perfect cohesins gets stressful. And then you throw in the Chinese and my brain really starts spinning.

    Well, let me get my dinner, but could we just play this game out with edits and afterwards I’ll record your victory irregardless of outcome?

    I never say anything in anger so yes you have lost. India will fall for good on J5 and Moscow will be taken on G6. That is way too early for Moscow to fall to be able to win as the Allies.
