  • Once you confirm it about the AA gun not being able to activate Brazil, we can swap out the AA gun with the infantry in Algeria. I didn’t give it a second thought when Triple-A allowed it. Sometimes finding obscure rules in the rulebook is difficult to do, but I am happy to learn new things.

    AA guns cannot activate a friendly neutral, at least not according to the Global1940.2 OOB-rules (Europe 1940.2, page 28):

    Land Units
    Infantry, artillery, mechanized infantry, tanks, and AAA (antiaircraft artillery) can attack and defend only in territories. Only infantry, artillery, mechanized infantry, and tanks can capture hostile territories or convert friendly neutrals. All can be carried by transports.

    Also this TripleA-bug is in the TripleA game notes, shipped with the map:

    (PE) Friendly Neutrals can not be ‘captured’ with an AA Gun, only by land units with an attack power.
