socket error

This error usually occurs maybe due to connection time out, virus scanner interference or firewall blocking. Your home PCs and your office PC might be configured differently. Maybe different OS, different settings, whatever.

Have you always experienced this issue at home? What OS do you have at home, what Antivirus, any Firewall setting that block outgoing connections for TripleA? Any special configuration of your router?

Also which version of TripleA do you use?

We are having the same issues. some players don’t want to play any more because i’m posting manually.

I am sorry. This doesn’t seem to be a common problem or problem related to TripleA itself.
I will do a bit of research however, maybe I’ll find something what might help you.

Hi there, I also had socket write errors. But I was able to post the turn summary via ‘Post Turn Summary’ when I did this:

• save the game
• leave game
• load saved game
• retype ‘Forum Password’
• start game by forum (‘Play’)
• post turn summary via ‘Post Turn Summary’
