@Witt You were lucky getting a tech with just 1 die, and getting gas. The extra hit you’ll get from rolling 5’s instead of 4’s gives you much better odds (because of the relatively small size of both armies). Taking Mecca on T3 will give you a big jump on taking Cairo.

@Colt45554 Alden battle was as good as it gets. Planned to attack for just 1 round, inflict 4 hits, take 2 hits, retreat so as not to be crushed by counterattack. Actually killed 7 of 8, which still allowed me to retreat, and only lost 1.
Don’t know why the report didn’t show the dice result for the 1 round, 7 hits (4 expected) vs 1 hit (2 expected).
Russia +3 Com -1 dice stats.Colt’s Turk bad dice luck is rubbing off on Commies. Big set back for Com.
-
We haven’t had much luck at all. Italy has beaten up on Austria the whole game and I didn’t have a very good G1. Too many ships survived my Sub attacks, including the all important Canadian ones .

@witt Won’t matter if G takes Paris this coming turn. Has anyone played a game where Paris fell early and Entente still won? If not, it will be a short game again.
-
Guess you guys beet me to it
-
@entek Sorry, no one heard from you in days. Battle dice were very good to you. You got a tech, but not the best.
-
@fmerwinrommel it’s fine. I was just going to do these later today. Was too busy yesterday to get to them

How could I forget Elrood’s Pyrrhic victory in Game 4? But, in that case, UK had ten troops and 2 figs in range to reinforce the French that recaptured Paris. And the UK fleet was unopposed.

Just changed USA troop landing from Brittany to Normandy -
@fmerwinrommel I couldn’t use that file ; perhaps you saved it ij Local.
Will edit the Americans to Normandy, if I remember.
Have rolled Tech, but will keep you all in suspense about which I rolled.
Can’t do the Paris assault until later . Work first. -
Are you enjoying keeping us in suspense witt!!!
-
-
Enjoy your brief sojourn in Paris witt :anguished:
-
@private-panic good God! Do we have a spy at HQ? Do you know our every move?
Paris was a side show. The streets smell of garlic and there are too many crust jugglers hanging about.
London was always the real target. And you knew all along! -
@witt Crust jugglers? A British term. Had to Google it, means gypsies, tinkers (Wheel of Time fantasy series).
