I have no idea but to me it already looks like game over. I hate this kind of game. Exactly what I would do and now Russia’s fun is over. Ill keep playing it out without doing anything silly but I just dont know what else Russia is supposed to do.

Just seems like it turns into a toss of the dice on G1. I suppose I regretted scrambling 110 immediately since I could clear your bb on UK1 and then it probably evens out, but I have been hosed whenever I have given the chance for a scramble to the allies so I figured I would try it and despite great dice in France losing all those UK units is so painful. Thought with no ships, a few air left an all ground buy on G1 and trying to be greedy in pac that I could get away with a factory in Egypt but I guess not.

I understand the frustration that often comes with a sea lion situation where Russia’s progress seems to get checked, and suddenly you’re facing a fast-expanding Japan that you have to deal with as well. there are definitely some things I will advise you on after our game is over, that I believe you could’ve done better. however, I’m not so certain this game is over yet… I think it’s one of the more intriguing games one will find, definitely off the beaten path. I mean UK pac combined with Russian and Chinese stacks really puts a lot of pressure on Japan, while your fleet presence isn’t that bad either. and then you have all that Russian income, and a sizable incoming allied presence floating in as well, though I am surprised you didn’t anticipate the gib naval base bombing by getting one established in Morocco.

thing is, in situations like this, timing is very important. by allowing me to cripple your naval options from 91/92, it can really buy euro axis the time it needs to do all the land recovery (eg scandanavia) while regrouping, fortifying, and then trying to push back the red army.

yah I don’t think this game is over yet, honestly, and if nothing else, playing out could deepen your SL experience. but really I also understand how it can feel frustrating and futile at times, so I understand if you did call it game.

no, it’s misleading if anyone says SL is an auto loss! but it’s also not an auto win even when London goes well. there are a lot of considerations that go into a SL game, and it’s just as much of an interesting struggle as any other scenario.

those people who are saying it’s an auto loss are not doing it right

also, I’ll admit, my SL was on the weaker side… I could’ve done a couple things a bit differently, and it was fairly risky. but I purposely wanted to take greater risks and have more fun in this one. so far it has paid off, but this game is far from over.
