    I am currently traveling, so can’t look at the file. However, if you attack Korea with 1 inf from a transport I would like to use all kamikaze on that transport! No scramble.

    If you attack with 1 inf and 1 armor from soviet far East, please use all kamikaze,  but only 1 at each carrier. That means 6 kamikaze against 6 carriers. That is final!

  • Since you cannot look right now I figured I would let you know the results: 2 hits on the carriers.

  • Bah, I knew I forgot to do something. I had closed down the game and then reopened it, that negated my edit. I swear sometimes I don’t have my brain.
    So the results of the tank/fighter rolls taken in order would still overkill Korea without the 7 ‘extra’ fighters.


  • Wow, I just realized I made a horrible mess of my options here. Oh well.

    One other thing, does kamikaze or an amphibious landing in which the ships don’t take part mean they cannot move in the non-combat phase?


  • Basically, I just realized that I should have pulled all of my ships out and let the tank take that territory by itself (I would have lost a fighter).

    Then I could send my aircraft further inland and they would be in Russia in 2 turns to defend it IF russia builds an airbase in mongolia (which it can do).
    The US can rebuild an air force and the game would continue.

    A ship targeted by kamikaze can not take part in amphibious landing.  However I targeted only carriers and they don’t participate anyway?  Your battleships should be able to support amphibious landings.  A ship supporting amphibious landing and targeted by kamikaze can not fire (and I believe but not sure, can not move during non combat,  because it “used” its move in the combat part (even though it didn’t really do anything))

  • Ok, I don’t know how to add kamikaze attacks back to japan so I will edit the pre-combat setup and just proceed from there.
    Edit 1 would be: buy new air force (instead of a new invasion fleet).
    Edit 2 would be: Undoing your kamikaze attacks and moving my entire fleet out of combat.
    Edit 3 would be (using the rolls rolled already where Korea got 1 hit and I got…many) taking Korea still but without the infantry.
