Awesome ! Glad your playing again.
Happy New Year !
@Imperious:
Yes it was pretty good. Everybody dies by the cartel in that one. See it.
SOB!!! SPOILER ALERT!!! (LOL)
Okay, so…
Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
Guardians of the Galaxy
and this: Godzilla
That Godzilla movie looks pretty dang good.
He also looks quite a bit larger than the original or later versions of Godzilla.
edit: much bigger than the 350 ft tall claimed on Wikipedia.
I really liked the idea that the A-bomb tests weren’t tests but attempts to kill Godzilla. It looks far superior to Pacific Rim. Actually looks like a whole feature of what I wanted the first half hour of Pacific Rim to be.
This looks great! Must see.
Looks like MALCOMS Dad is dealing with Godzilla this time and not Matthew Broderick, (pfeuww)
I think we got a chance to see something decent here then… :-)

At least they seem to know what the hell Godzilla is supposed to look like. They aren’t giving us that stupid igaunazilla/velociraptor/we’ve no idea who Godzilla is thing, so, we’re already getting something miles better than that movie.

Plus no Puffy/P. Diddy/Pick-a-new-name-each-week

Can’t wait, my father and I are Godzilla fans.
Guys,
––“Godzilla”,…I’m not really a sci-fi fan, but this looks like a QUALITY production so I will definately go see it.
“Tall Paul”
Ok i watched Stalingrad in 3D. It is basically: Enemy at the gates: Part Deux.
I really want them to show the strategic purpose of the campaign with lots of scenes of how and why they fought. We we got was another version of 300 except with MP-40’s and bald Germans talking about going to India once the battle was over. Effects were good but that won’t carry the movie.
If they made it like Tora, Tora, Tora it would have been fantastic. Of course, another freaking love story transpired.

THE LEGO MOVIE……
IS AWESOME!!!Cant wait to see it, but I will.
Everything is awesome….
Liked the Star Wars quick cameo. There’s so much going on, need to watch it more than once to see it all.
Some new Godzilla pictures and size references:

He still looks bigger than 350 ft. Way bigger.
Will the next 300 be worth a theater ticket?
@Young:
Will the next 300 be worth a theater ticket?
Nope. “300” was sort of revolutionary when it came out, but the genre has been re-used and bastardized enough in the interim that I doubt the next movie will be as great. That tends to be the case with sequels that were not planned in the first place.

So you already have an opinion on a movie that youve never watched ? :P
Seems legit…

I doubt it as well. Just another trip to the well. Sparta/Greece was already an “empire” at the time of the original movie that’s why Xerxes wanted it.
Although if the token tough feminist in a male dominated world gets disembowled/decapitated or otherwise illustrates why wars are fought by men it might but I’m pretty sure the feminist pandering will grate on everybody interested in the film. She is already grating on me and I’ve only seen previews. I won’t be buying a ticket. Rental/Netflix/Bargain bin if the reviews say it “didn’t suck.”

That’s the point of all the marketing. So we get an opinion of the movie. “It’s going to be awesome I want to spend money to see that!” is the preferred opinion. I don’t see any reason why, “That doesn’t look very good” is somehow an illegitimate one.
