The Great War 1914-1918: Clash of Empires

I am at it again! Here I present to you A&A 1800 Napoleonic Wars! This game will provide several scenarios within the wider scope of the Napoleonic Wars, beginning in the year 1800. This game will include full diplomatic, combat, and economic systems; as well as the destructive variable of Napoleon himself.

Combat system:

Infantry- Atk 1/ Def 2/ Move 1/ Cost 3 ipc
Atk of 2 when paired 1 to 1 with cannon

Calvary- Atk 2/ Def 2/ Move 2/ Cost 4 ipc

Cannon- Atk 3/ Def 3/ Move 1/ Cost 5 ipc
May move 2 spaces if paired 1 to 1 with calvary

Frigate- Atk 3/ Def 3/ Move 2/ Cost 8 ipc
May carry up to 2 land units, 1 must be infantry

Economic system:

All nations collect the stated amount of ipc with each of their respective territories at the end of each of their turns.

Diplomatic System:

Every nation may earn and spend PPT (Political Power Tokens). +1 PPT for defeating an enemy army/fleet (either destroying it or forcing it to retreat from a territory/sea zone ). +1 PPT when having captured an enemy territory. +1 PPT when forming an alliance with another nation.

-1 PPT when breaking an alliance with another nation. -1 PPT when having lost a land or sea battle. -1 PPT when having lost your nations capital.

PPTs may be spent to ally a neutral nation to your cause; 1 PPT per allying neutral nation. 1 PPT can be used to delay a nations declaration of war upon you (may only be used ounce per round, per nation). 1 PPT may be spent to declare war on another nation.

––As far as the Island Warfare set in your Global Warfare-1939 series sets goes,….Do you have plans for making,…or could you PLEASE include an APD Attack Transport? These were the WW1 era 4-piper Destroyers that were rebuilt into Attack Transports for the Marine Raiders and other units. The Japanese also had simular Attack Transports and both were seen starting in the Guadalcanal campaign.
––My Marine Raiders are anxiously awaiting their rides into battle.

Now have 2 sets of rules with optional rules.

Standard rules use a more Axis & Allies turn based system.

In standard rules, all Axis move first simultaneously, followed by Allies.  That would encompass 1 entire season (4 seasons to a year).

Defender withdrawing still allowed, but can no longer move units into space the attacker is attacking (except for air units).

No more initiative in standard rules.

It’s been almost a year since any information on this has been posted. I can’t find the existence of a Legion Gaming publisher. I just read all pages in this thread and am still a little confused. Forgive me if I’m asking questions already answered elsewhere.
Is this game canceled, or just on hold?
Has it been assimilated by IL’s Clash of Empires?
Should this thread still be stickied?

there wont be much money in this game. i actually like that better makes a little more cotios(sp?) of loses.

I think you should add cavalry because the British had a cavalry division at the start of the war. Also the ANZAC’s had cavalry divisions even though the did not use them in Gallopoli and will you include rules about terrain such as the hills in turkey that meant the ANZAC infantry became fodder. Also will there be sea units used for transportation? You could also create a tech that meant Art could fire poison rounds that decreased Inf def and also killed halve of Inf stack.

I had IB before it was officialy released in stores. I don’t want to upset you anyway, but it is a load of bugs, and virtualy un-playable online.
This was one of the typical scams by hasbro before they went belly-up.
