Your right, it was a typo “of” = “on”. Aparently there have been a few IRC Axis&Allies channels but they seem to be long gone. I need to contact the author as I wanted to borrow some items from it and incorporate them into TripleA. I also had some other legal issues to ask him about SEI’s laywer dispute with Hasbro.

I have been trying to contact the developer of Dogs of War for ages, but this seems to be impossible. The site was last touched in 1999, and any email listed does not seem to work. Anyone have any clues? Also, there used to be a dogs of war channel of #efnet, yet the site does not give the name of the channel.

I find a major contradiction here. The package is put together soo poorly that it is not even played on the zone, or ever was (cept for the first 2 weeks it ever was spammed).
If you are serious about wanting to play on the zone, you are in for a very big surprise. The bugs that show up in online play in every phase dwarf anything you’ve seen while playing the AI offline. And this is an understatement!
I had IB before it was officialy released in stores. I don’t want to upset you anyway, but it is a load of bugs, and virtualy un-playable online.

A few weeks ago I started to re-code my battle odds simulator from 1998. This time coding windows binaries as people still seem java iliterate today.
It’s not realy ready for release any time soon, but is in somewhat working order, still under development of course when I get the time after my exams.
Ahh thanks. I was able to get it after all. Now my next question, does anyone know if the creator is still around somewhere in the community? I can’t seem to get ahold of him, and I think his listed email addresses are quite out of date.

The answere is no. Iron Shitz has been disbanded. It is virtualy unplayable online due to the horrific nature of the many bugs.
Anyone who pays more than 2$ for this is getting jipped off imho. I feel sorry for anyone purchasing it on E-Bay, it is a pure scam.
You may want to pick up a copy of TripleA next year, since a bug free Iron Blitz is planning to be distributed with it in a few months. And it’s FREE.
