poland does not touch sz  :-P115 either.

    where can this be confirmed.

i do not own global revised(yet) but in the europe rulebook on page 11, it clearly shows sz115 does not touch poland.

So is that the way it has always been?  then the alpha 3 map is wrong and veqryn should be notified.

i dont have my boards infront of me so i don’t know for sure, i think it has always been that way. you are right, if someone confirms it or i break out my game and confirm it we should let veqyrn know.

    imhotep plays creature commandos

You can update the bracket : Creature commandos advances to next round as Team Imhotep withdraw from this farce.

    Good luck to all.

i am sorry to hear you are not enjoying the tournament and you are dropping out.
however, i am going to send a pm to septimus and pomme as they might not want to give up.

septimus has sent me a polite pm letting me know that the whole team of imhotep has resigned.

sorry creature commandos it look like you get a bye.

alpha +3 does not need to be revised. It is alpha +3.

Global 2nd edition has slightly different territory/seazone lines. So a second version needs to be made for triple a. Also the setup of -1 inf on egypt to be implemented.

  • Team Atlanta should gain a point in sportivity for conceding my team to correct a mistake that could have lead them to a very easy victory. They decided instead to correct the mistake and keep playing, even if they might lose the game by doing so.

Been noticing italy blowing up in africa more.

  • my teammate of the “Defrosted Tuna Team” said me he wants to drop out of the tournament. As I’m left alone in the team, and I think the original spirit of the tournament was to show the game and tripleA to new players, if there’s a replacement (i/e: someone that wants to join my team in a game that is already at round5) I’d be happy to have it on my team, otherwise I guess team Defrosted Tuna dissolves.

    Waiting also on Garg’s statement.

I think you should be forced to play with Canuck12

Aww, come on man. Might be fun! It could be your punishment for driving away your previous team mate!

can we get a ruling on whether the Atlanta Axis/Defrosted Tuna (Noll) game is indeed conceded because otherwise we’re burning time towards the Dec 31 deadline, thanks,

the spirit and original intent was to have new players brought into the game by partnering with an experienced player. if you can pick up a new partner that is great.

but do not feel like you need to drop from the tournament because you are a wolf pack of one. If you do not have time to post then that is a different story.

    bracket updated.

imhotep has resigned from this farce of a tournament.

So what happens when my opponents intentionally decide to post every 72 hour period?

  • You thank your lucky star that he’s not posting every 96 hours.  :-)

Id say u505 doesn’t negotiate with terrorists cow.  ball is in your court to accept his terms, which to tell the truth sound pretty reasonable.

  • TripleA

Nah, that is just their strategy, they like to slow play to keep the game from progressing to the later rounds.

  • TripleA

If it were a cash game poker table sure I’d wait all day, but this is a board game.

Reminds me of the magic card tournaments, every match had one guy who would play soooo slow for their 50 minute matches. That is the strategy though, win the first game and stall the second out.

In axis and allies it could keep the game from going to the later rounds. Generally speaking when I am axis I try to win the game before round 10 by vc count in europe or pacific. So of course I want to progress the game. It is not like there is a secret behind my strategy, it is pretty direct.

Sometimes if the allies are really defensive you settle for an income game. But like usually Russia drops on real fast or japan blows up the pacific. Allies stop both of them they win generally… but if the axis don’t even get to that round… then what is the point of playing?

The truth is that it all depends on the situation. But, typically the game is for the Axis to expand quickly and for the Allies to turn them back in the later rounds so it it becomes more advantageous for the Axis to slow play after their initial early expansion and not the other way around. Your logic is flawed.

And my slow play had nothing to do with any strategy you seem to have invented in your mind. I deduced from your incessant barrage of posts that you were an impatient person and I did it to to raise your ire simply because I don’t like you. Think what you want, though. Ignorance is bliss.
