Question:
I accidentally clicked the password space in a game with a friend and had to put a password in or I couldn’t start the game. Since then the two tourney games I play in have been saying invalid password whenever I try to post turns to forum. Is there a default password? -
When you load the savegame and hit “Start PBEM(…) Game” just re-enter your forum name and your forum password. Then you should be fine.
-
D’oh I just figured that out, for some reason I thought it was a GAME password, lol. I was just coming here to erase the evidence of my stujpidity.

I don’t know if this is the correct thread or forum, but with the latest version of Triple A, when I get SBRed, I am unable to repair the damage. I get the repair box to come up, but there is no way for me to repair.
Can anyone help or point me in the right direction? Thanks.

This was fixed 2 years ago.
The MAP you are using it out of date.
Please update all your maps.

I have the latest Triple A. From where do I download the latest maps? The links provided : http://tripleadev.1671093.n2.nabble.com/Download-Maps-Links-Hosting-Games-General-Information-td4074312.html doesn’t help me much.
Is that where all the maps are? Whenever I click on “Download Maps” in Triple A, I get the error: Unexpected Tag: TITLE.
What does that mean?
-
Never mind. I figured it out. Thanks for the help.
-
Well, I am still having the trouble of repairing my SBR damage. It says I need tech tokens. From where do I get those? And since when did I need to buy them?
-
cliclk done on tokens and it will take you to repair
-
tech purchase happens before repairing, which happens before normal purchase
it is not asking you to buy tech tokens for repairing, it is asking you if you want to buy tech tokens for TECH
also, after you update your maps you need to start a new game to take advantage of the updates

Thank you, Veqryn, for updating the WW2v3 maps to Version 1.5 today.

I have discovered that somewhere along the lines, I have patched my computer to the point that Java Runtime Environment 1.5.0 is no longer supported and will not run on my machine.
Considering there is now a Java Runtime Environment 7.0.something maybe it’s time to allow TripleA to run on something that was coded a bit more recently?
I know this was not an issue as of last January, but, obviously, I don’t use it routinely preferring the simpleness and ease of use of battlemap. However, if I patched something that screwed it up, and I only run Microsoft Patches (and the, not always all the optionals, like I don’t have Bing Desktop and never will) I know someone else is going to have this problem as well.
Windows 7 64 bit
I have only the software that came with the HP machine and Microsoft software- TripleA, battlemap, and a few other games (WoW, STO, GW2, etc…not that I play those often either anymore.)
Last major patch: IE10 upgrade from IE9
TripleA Version 1.6.1.4
- TripleA, battlemap, and a few other games (WoW, STO, GW2, etc…not that I play those often either anymore.)

no idea what you are talking about cmdr jennifer,
TripleA requires “AT LEAST” Java 1.5 (also called Java 5)
I do not recommend using java 5, because java 5 does not support changing the look and feel.
Currently I am using Java 7 on my computer for the last 6 months. Previous to that I was using Java 6.
TripleA runs just fine on both java 7 and java 6.

@Cmdr:

Windows 7 64 bit
…
TripleA Version 1.6.1.4On my Windows 7 64bit system I have the latest Java 7 Update 21 (64bit) installed, running triplea 1.6.1.4 on it (having no other program that needs 32bit JRE).
I have never experienced any issues with (up-to-date) JRE on my older systems, either.

Error for TripleA 1.6.1.4.pdf
Error what happens when okay button pushed.pdf -
read what we both wrote,
download any java greater than or equal to java 5, java 6, or java 7
make sure you download and install the 32bit version, OR both the 32bit and 64bit versions
and/or you can just use the triplea that includes java already in it

This is exactly what you need:

Nope, got both 32 and 64 bit versions still getting the error.
Removed the 64 bit version, reinstalled the 32 bit version over the old one, still erroring out.
Probably the upgrade to IE10, but I use IE way more than I ever used TripleA, so I need to figure out a way to keep IE and make TripleA work around it.
