@Panther Thanks for clarifying. It may be best not to even include a carrier with a guest fighter when attacking.
Sub vs carrier and plane
-
i i have question if sub attack carrier whit 2 plane on board the fist strike of sub not hit the carrier and carrier to the plane can fly for the secon run and if the carrier hit by sub the plane can go on frendly territori? thx
-
Evening louprouge.
The Air units can fly one move (only) to a friendly territory. -
ok if sub no strike on fist time the plane can fly not live on carrier
-
I might understand the question better in its original language…
but yes if a sub strikes a carrier, that plane has to either land in an adjacent territory or it’s destroyed
and of course a plane can’t take a hit from a sub since subs can only hit ships
-
This applies even if it’s a single sub attacking a single carrier. It’s a 2 on a 2, with a first strike capability. There’s something in the rules somewhere about it that was reference recently. It is important for Taranto: if the UK carrier is the only ship remaining and the sub attacks it alone and hits, the planes on it sink.

ok if sub no strike on fist time the plane can fly not live on carrier
If the Sub misses on Round one, as does the Carrier, then the Sub retreats, the Air unit is still on the Carrier. It can only leave the Carrier and the Sea Zone, if the Carrier is damaged or sunk.
Is that what you were asking? -
sorry i am french and not perfect in englich in the second strike the sub hit the carrier the plane is on air ? beacause i know is attaking or leave like cargo beacause is not able to hit sub? thank i hope to understand thans again
-
Is fine, honestly.
Yes, the Fighter is in the Air (even though it cannot defend). It is not Cargo and, therefore, stuck. -
thank again merci beaucoup :)
