• As people may choose the option of capturing one VC to win for quick.
I don’t think Russia can be hold for so long, and US seems not strong enough to reinforce Russia.

Besides, UK fleets in India ocean and south pacific can’t even make it after G2. :-(

  • germany can easily take moscow, but japan can be smacked down harsh and brutally. the british fleets die, taking japanese fleets with them to the grave. they play first apparently…

  • Yeah, Japan is the weak point of the axis, it has to expand and hold fast. The british navy can run out of range on GB1 and cause havoc the rest of the game, not to mention constantly pump out infantry and tanks in India and Australia. The soviets can hit through China and America can simply push it’s way through, especially if the Japanese navy takes any casualities in their clearing of the pacific.

And don’t forget, even if the british navy in the atlantic is in a rough spot, it can still take out a good amount of german equipment in it’s passing. And with the Middle East being one space, the brits can quickly lend assistance if need be.

  • In G1, purchase: 4 inf.
    Combat move:

1 sub+1 dd in meditarranean sea+1 fig in western euro hit the AC of UK.
1 tank in north Africa, 2 inf+1fig in southern euro, 1 bomber hit egypt.
1 sub take out the lone US transport.

Leave 1 inf in Ukraine, rest of ground force attack western Russia.
2 inf in Norway, 1 fig in Germany hit karelia.

At the end of G1, we count it there would be 10 Russian inf left(8 plus 2 built).
And German probably had 6 inf 4 tank in western Russia.
If Russia hit Manchuria with 1 tank, then Moscow might be fallen in G2.

Without threat from atlantic ocean, Germany could concentrate on taking Moscow.
If put the bomber in southern euro at the end of G1, then it could hit uk transport in India ocean in G2.(even if uk hid its transport in SZ 27)

Meanwhile Japan might wanna take out BB of US with 2 fig 1 bomber, which means US has to spend its IPC on naval force if it wants to attack Japan.
If I were Japan, I would focus on taking out India in J2.
Without any transport, the IC in Australia is just for looking.

    So bad for allies.

  • It does look bleak for the Allies.

  • Very bleak indeed. At least the US starts with a lot of material on land to make up for it’s economic shortcomings.

  • Blind luck always helps, with smaller map its much easier to reinforce Moscow with the RAF and as the allies don’t worry about the 2 IPC Africa and throw down attacks at western Europe and Berlin itself
