Just woke up and got this thought in my head. Would you allow the bs to have taken the route via z93 and be able to retreat there? Played it a bit hastily as usual. Should’ve moved that route in case of a battle screw up. The intention was to strife and hopefully keep the 2 tr safe, but with this awful outcome it’s really pointless. Fully understand if you won’t allow it though.

it was a valid attempt, just some bad dice. naval battles are quite risky like that unfortunately. that’s why what you did isn’t attempted that often.

Working on a lagging computer and only touchpad. Sucks. I usually redo my CM if I realize I have do do a different purchase, but it’s a drag redoing all the moves here, so I’ll just notify I’ll exchange the ac and (including the leftover IPC) purchase 1 des and 3 inf instead.

stating your purchase change before rolling for combat is perfectly acceptable, that’s usually what I do as well.
