@Danger:
I’ve never done this on the forum before so the in-house dice roller is new to me, and as far as being the axis or allies I’ll do either one so we can make it random if you do not have a preference
No problem.
There are 2 separate dice rollers on this forum.
One is strictly for rolling Axis and allies d6 and it will automatically calculate the number of hits you achieve. So, for example, you want to roll for 2 inf, 1 bmb, then you would do this:
:bbb 2@1, 1@4:
This represents 2 infantry rolling at 1 (2@1) and 1 bomber rolling at 4 (1@4) and you must always separate the different dice rolls with a comma and then a space. However, instead of typing the “bbb” you would type “aaa” for the dice roller to actually roll the dice.
And it looks like this:
Rolls: 2@1, 1@4; Total Hits: 12@1,: (4, 2)1@4: (3)
The second one is simply a random number generator. It is used like this:
:mice 2d17:
This represents 2 rolls of a number between 1 and 17. Again, instead of “mice”, you would type “dice” to have it work.
And it looks like this:
Rolling 2d17:
(4, 5)
I’ll let you be the Axis. That way you can practice the dice roller and I’ll help you out with your turn if you need it. If you need help with the format we use for the thread title, let me know, but you really can’t go wrong if you copy the style of one of the other threads.
