  • I checked with the invaluable Panther. He indicated that the dice roller on the Forum has not yet been set up. Panther suggested using the edit function to set up a similar scenario, roll the battle in Triple A, and then re-edit. For example, before the US turn, you could edit in a Japanese DD in SZ 31. Do the same for a US sub, 3 US fighters, and 3 US Tacs, and run the battle during the US CM. This would likely result in a hit on the Japanese DD; there would be a 1 in 3 chance that the Japanese sub would be hit. If the Japanese sub does survive and if my assumption is correct that you would attack it with a DD and 7 (or even 13) fighters, send these US unit to attack the Japanese sub in SZ 25. If the Japanese sub does not survive the battle in SZ 31, you can just ignore the a possible hit by the Japanese sub in SZ 25.

  • @ArtofWar1947 so if I just remove the jap sub and the anzac dd and make sure that I used my fighters and a us dd I can just delete both units


  • Delete the ANZAC DD, which was hit in the J-8 turn and leave the Japanese sub, which was not hit. Although the Japanese sub is not likely to survive a counter attack from Hawaii, there is a slight possibility (a 1 in 6 chance) that it might take out a US DD.
