@GeneralHandGrenade Yeah, it worked. The PM system is different. It’s more like a chat room so the migration just made up a name for the chat room. If you click into one, you’ll see who it’s with. You can also search.

That should be the default.

For those who did not find it:

1. Click your avatar
2. Click “Settings”
3. Choose an option under “Select a Skin”
4. Scroll all the way to the bottom and click “Save Changes”

@djensen Looks like its up and running. Nice work! We’ll work on getting the TripleA forum posting updated and push out a new stable shortly.

I’m in contact with the developers. What is needed to get a fix for Triple-A so it can post?

I also note that we can’t post attachments in any way I can see so we can’t even use that as a work around.

Another question. How do we get the posts to wrap lines rather than create a scrollable window? Or is it because of some peculiar way I posted that it worked that way for me: https://www.axisandallies.org/forums/topic/32369/jww-allies-vs-simon33-axis-bm3/58?page=3

EDIT: One more thing, have the attachments been loaded? Just tried to download an attachment and got a “Page not found”

That should be enabled now.

That’s expected behavior from TripleA + NodeBB forums. It saves verticle space.

For all interested: Klick on your profile image, then “settings”, then “Select a skin”, choose “Darkly” or whatever you like and confirm clicking the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the page.

Is it possible to create a link on the server from “uploads/_imported_attachments/migrated” to “forums/uploads/_imported_attachments/migrated”

I’m working on a fix. The website and the forums are on different servers proxied through HAProxy. :thinking_face: I’ll figure something out.

This is going to need some time getting used to, not gonna lie. Quite confusing at first.

But I’m sure it was important to migrate and will benefit us all in the long run.

Okay from the first couple of minutes of strolling around here:

I love the new chat feature. It’s much better. One bug I noticed: I just changed my skin to “Darkly”, and when I press on the chat bubble, all of the chats are invisible and only visible during mouse-over.

I also love the notifications! They are, so far, the best change I discovered.

In the old forum, I mainly used the button, where the forum would show me all the threads I replied in, that have a new post - this way I could very easily grab all the games where it’s currently my turn. I have not discovered that yet.

You’ll get a notification. Just click the bell icon.

Is there a way to go to the last page when you open a new thread? SMF allowed that because you could always open the last page. Or is the only option to show newest posts first?
