    Not sure either. My best guess: You bought 3 subs+2 fighters in round 4 (38 TUV!). Had you invested in ground troops there, I don’t think I could have stopped you from holding Ukraine and its factory. This is important since Italy can can-open rostov for you to threaten Stalingrad+Caucasus.

    Also, Italy was weak all game long, even from the beginning. Had Italy been a little stronger, at least getting the Med-Bonus, it would have been different.

    Not to mention Japan, ooof.  They never got explosive.  This was one of the rare games where even when Japan was wiping out large stacks, it wasn’t actually resulting in significant forward progress.  You played a battle of attrition which slowed me down even when I was winning.

    Blah… this game was a bitter pill for me!!  :lol: :-P

    I think you are back in shape there Mr. Roboto.  Time to take it up a notch!
