Axis and Allies Events – Any one know of any other than these?

Hi everyone. Been a while but getting back into A&A now(12 years or so I think)

Does anyone know of any Axis and Allies events other than the following? It seems most/all cons do not have any Axis and Allies events any more.

I havent played a game of G40 yet… lol… Cant get the Triple A to work with the G40 map… says it is missing a file… Not sure what so I have to look around and see what I am missing…

Maybe in the future though… Thanks… My wife would love to go to Vegas again!!

Just watched your video on Meeplecon and YGs convention… Sounds like you all had a great time…

Now I really need to learn G40 and play it… Thank you for the motivation.

WBC (World Boardgaming Championships) in Seven Springs, PA has an A&A Revised Tournament (with modified victory conditions to fit a Over-The-Board Tournament) yearly as part of its con. Not 100% sure of the date for next year (it’s a two-day event at a week-long convention), but judging by the first few years A&A is on the first two days. This year the tournament was on July 22-23.

boardgamers (dot) org is the website iirc, but you can also just search “Boardgame Players Association (BPA)” and it should come up in the first result or two.

We had about 20-ish people show up this year with next-to-zero promotion/hype, which was a pretty good number considering how niche Revised is compared to G40.

Side-Note: Larry Harris and crew were at the convention to demo War Room this year, so if you’re looking forward to that expect a push for it to be an event at future WBCs.

the missing file error has a pretty easy fix if it’s the one I’m thinking of. If you ask in software Panther will see it and tell ya how to fix it

There is one every day at Dragonflight Convention in Bellevue (near Seattle, WA) … usually mid-August. Lots of good players.
Weather is usually awesome… for those coming to see National Parks etc after the game.
