yeah would’ve def kept a dd with all those subs still in play. i think taking out another sub of yours makes sense and the easy way to resolve. otherwise maybe we re-roll the whole thing. but my reasoning is i’d have a dd and cruiser that’d fire and thinking at least one might’ve hit. i’ll play italy and let you decide when it’s franz if that’s ok and do the edit accordingly.

I just watched back the histroy of that battle, man those dice were something else, must have been a sinking feeling watch those come in. At least the Aussies were able to salvage some USN pride, otherwise Earnest King would have been bustin’ someones balls.

Actually not so much a sinking feeling, more just laughing at the absurdity of it all.
But it’s death if the Allies need control of the bases and need ANZAC planes flying on to the Carolines and they lose that.And I STILL went with 99%+ odds, even subjecting both planes to AA fire. Otherworldly
