  • Thanks for the game, it’s a shame to see that your strat didn’t work out for this game. I think the optimal Allied strategy should also see some sort of attack on Berlin forming on G6, otherwise the Germans can just keep building their tanks.

    Wanna play again, but this time with the balance recommendations? (no SCA Germany, one sub removed Bay of Biscay)? I’ll take Germany again.


  • @VictoryFirst Well that’s that. I don’t think I need another one as you clearly knew before the game started the solution to what I did was to just build one more round of tanks and wait until turn 7, exploiting the fact that the fighter jump is something that can only be done once.

    I think with the balance this strategy might have some more success, as long as you put a little more money into attacking Berlin as well. Once Moscow is secure on G6 AND the Allies are pressuring Berlin, then an Allied victory is much more likely.

    In any case, if you need an opponent then I’m always up for it.

    TGC and I discussed this same potential weakness (Germany builds the extra round of Tanks because Berlin is not in danger) in the strategy last week when I initially rolled it out so I assumed he’d shared my concerns with you as well. I am going to spend some time thinking about ways to strike a better balance of force distribution and get back to you. I am not very good at making major innovations on the fly, unfortunately.
