Seine Vermutung ist das der Java Code es nicht zulässt.
Wäre echt toll wenn Du da mal darüber schauen könntest.
Da gab es doch mal diesen komischen code den Du mich mal manuell hast raus löschen hast lassen. Bin mir nur nicht mehr ganz sicher welcher das war.

Nein leider nicht. Aber wir können per E-Mail spielen. Martin hat uns das Spiel aufgesetzt.
Das Problem hatten viele nach dem Update von Java im Dez/Jan mit dem Forumspiel. Aber Gamerman und ich sind bisher die einzigen die kein Forumspiel aufsetzen können.
Ich habe schon einiges versucht. Java Konfiguration bis hin zum Browserwechsel, weil Google Chrome Java nicht unterstützt. Hat alles nicht geholfen.
Vielleicht sollten wir mal unsere Versionen vergleichen.
Wenn ich das Forum Spiel aufetze steht bei mir aktuell links oben auf der Seite/Fenster die Java Version und Engine.

TripleA kommt mit einer bundled Java Version, die unabhängig von einer systemweiten Java-Installation ist. Daher ist nur die Java-Version maßgeblich, die von der TripleA-Engine angezeigt wird.
Java 8 funktioniert schon lange nicht mehr, die Engine verwendet die eigene Java 11 Installation.
Also die 11.0.6.

Eure Probleme resultieren aus einem Bug, zu dem es in der TripleA-Support Kategorie einige Einträge gibt.
Ihr müsstet entweder alle eine aktuelle Pre-Release Version verwenden, das geht aber nur mit einem neuen Spiel. Alternativ könnt ihr mit der aktuellen Stable nur PBEM nutzen und dann den Verlauf und das Savegame manuell posten.
Wann eine neue Stable erscheint, kann ich euch leider nicht sagen. Sie ist lange angekündigt, lässt aber auch schon lange auf sich warten…

Vielen Dank für die Info. Ich werde erst einmal nichts riskieren und nichts neu installieren. Ich spiele weiterhin Play by Forum und poste dann manuell - wie in den letzten acht Monaten. Hoffentlich kommt bald das neue Release, und der Spuk hat ein Ende :-)
Es ist dennoch erstaunlich, dass wir dasselbe Problem haben, ich aber als einziger weiterhin Spiele aufsetzen kann. Vielleicht liegt es ja daran, dass ich alles im Modus “Play by Forum” tue und nicht in “Play by Email” :thinking_face:
