I had looked at some players’ games and saw Axis Dom in one game do what you are doing. Bess > Ukr, instead of to W. Ukr, where I went in our first game. So Italy can take Rostov and then German mobile go to Cauc. In our first game, you blocked that by massive UK builds in Mideast. I started the game with fast Mideast buildup strategy. IC in Egypt UK1, convoy to Persia. Intended to build IC in Persia UK2 & Iraq UK3. But when Euro Axis went to Gibraltar, I foolishly abandoned the Mideast. Which was a mistake, since Italy and Germany didn’t have enough amphib units to seriously threaten London. So now Russia had to be creative and block the Italians for a turn. In our first game, my Italy didn’t pressure UK in Egypt or take Gibr with enough power to have any effect. My strategy for Italy was my weak spot. I’m learning new strategies by playing different experienced players like yourself. This game looks to be interesting with your novel moves and delayed Japanese DOW.
