A&A G40 Con 2018 Vegas

OK guys I know that I said that I would announce at YG’s invitational, but I wanted to give forum watchers a bit more information.

I’m going to hold this at the 4th Annual MeepleCon, board gaming convention 3/16-3/18 (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).  Here is the website address if you want to check it out:  https://tabletop.events/conventions/meeplecon-2018.

It’s being held at the Eastside Cannery (casino hotel) in a HUGE room.  Like last year they have 600 registration spots open.  So folks can fly in, stay at the hotel.  Plenty of food there, gaming, and gambling all in one location!!

I’ve chatted with YG a couple of times and I plan on speaking with him after his Invitational for recommendations he may have.  I can’t thank YG enough for his videos and the way he has really galvanized the G40 community!

I want this to be an Awesome American/Vegas G40 experience!

If you happen to be interested in this, I would appreciate a quick shout out on this thread.  Likewise if you have a YouTube channel I would love a shout out about this.

Lol.  Just watched General Hand Grenade and he mentioned watching Celine Dion.  I think he may be biased since she’s Canadian also.

In 2020, maybe it’ll be scheduled so that folks can watch the Las Vegas Raiders!

Man, I had a ton of fun at YG’s Invitational.  It was great seeing everybody play and yes it was fun getting my butt kicked by Gargantua and Variance.  At least we weren’t blanked!!!  I especially enjoyed meeting Larry Harris, very down to earth, soft spoken, and humble guy.  I also enjoyed seeing again and meeting the awesome Youtube Channel guys - Young Grasshopper (!!!), Sired Blood, Big E, and General Handgrenade.

I can’t thank YG enough for all of his hard work in putting this thing together.  His channel has really galvanized the community and spawned many other channels.  He is the true master!

In light of the massive fun we had at YG’s Invitational, I encourage folks to come for the Vegas tournament.  It’s being held at a board gaming convention, MeepleCon 2018 in March at the Eastside Cannery.  The Eastside Cannery is a casino hotel.  It is held in a ballroom there with tons of space!

There is lots of food, drink, and gambling there.  In the words of Sired Blood, “A&A, drinking, and gambling - I’m there!”

I’m going to start my own channel with updates for the Las Vegas A&A G40 Tournament.  I’ve learned from YG it’s a lot of work, but I saw that is extremely rewarding seeing the community get together.

It will based on YG’s point and time systems with a couple of modifications.

We had an awesome Canadian event and I’m looking forward to working hard for you guys to make a great American Event!
