@thrasher1 Our group plays China at War, Turkey at War, Fighting Railways, and Diplomacy. We have played others, but those 4 are our favorites. Diplomacy is starting to wear out it’s welcome a bit, as far as I’m concerned. It adds a lot of fun to the game, but it heavily favors the Allies. Some games it can really swing things.
Global War, 2nd edition - due 1\. November 2015

@WILD:
How many pages, should there be in total? There were 63 pages of rules, and I have 50 pages of the setup, minus Anzac.
Is this what every one else has?
I have total of 113 pages to be exact.
Yea that’s what I got 63 rules and 50 other for 113 pages total (no Anz)
Thanks for the confirmation, Wild Bill.

When you receive your map and play aids, please give us some feedback. We are quite proud ourself but we are bias.
-
Map and aids just got delivered to work, but its my day off LOL. I’ll be picking it up tonight.
-
Have the games shipped yet?
-
Some have and some not. I’m one of thee nots.
Probably going in order date.
You should be able to see if its shipped in your account and you will get an e-mail when shipped. -
Does HBG have a ‘offical’ color for Spanish Republicans? I have used Plum which has a good variety of land and air units but no naval. Would adding a destroyer, cruiser, and transport be possible for this color line?

The French set will come in French Blue and Plum, but it will be a while before that set is here. German set is just now in preorder stage and the Facility set is up next.
The French set will have everything, infantry, ground forces, naval and air, but like I said, it maybe a while.
-
Warwick, HBG says the French set will come sometime in 2016. That is what they told me before. I’m going to assume later in 2016.
I hope that answers part of your question.
PS They are also doing the French set in a Free French Light Blue, as well.
-
Thanks John. I will keep a look out for that sets release.

No problem.
Warwick, if you go to HBG’s website and look under the battle pieces on the left side of their front page and click on the country of France, checkout their picture gallery, by clicking under the picture of the French set and you will see the whole set.
It is going to be an amazing set. :-D

Maybe I missed it, but is there a 39 setup ? Or do you use the 36 setup but just jump to 39 ?

All they have ready right now is the 36 set-up, Coach (HGB) said they’ll have the 39 set-up out in a couple weeks (which hopefully means by the end of the month). Still waiting on the Anz Nation Ref Sheet BTW.
I have started to setup the units on my map (bought the 4’ x 8’), and it looks awesome. You get two, 2 sided battle boards (attack/def on opposite sides) and they are much bigger then I expected (6.5" x 20"), so there won’t be any problem fitting units on it. The tech, production, and build boards are also large and top notch too. All the player aids are made of vinyl so they won’t peel or crack like the card board ones.
I have the main powers set-up, and once I get some of the neutrals done (scavenging for units) l will try to post some pics.

Wild Bill is right, the play aids and map are really cool. If I get a chance, I will post pictures, sometime, as well. :-D

I sent a link with all the downloads, if you did not receive it, email me at doug@historicalboardgaming dot com and I will send you the link.

John, as HBG has not updated their European store with GW2.0 yet, your pictures are the only chance us Europeans has of seeing this marvelous game. Please post asap :-P

Europe.
Also if you put the Production chart and Tech chart against a metal board, the magnets stick to the stryene charts. Saves me time by not having to make a metal board with stripes and numbers .
