I1: Purchase 1 tank, 1 mech. Took Syria and Trans Jordan. 1 SB bombed London IC for $5 IC (AA missed). Italy has $13 in the bank.

G2: Purchase 3 tanks, 4 mech, 6 inf, 2 ftr. 3 inf in Normandy, 3 inf in So France, mechs and tanks in Berlin, ftrs in West Germany. Took Iceland and Greece. Tanks in France moved 2 spaces east. 11 stack in Berlin moved into Poland. All AAA’s moved one space east. 3 SB’s bombed London IC (AA’s missed) for $18. London IC now at max 20 damage. France convoyed $4 off. Germany has $53 in the bank.

UK2: UK has $23 to spend. London IC is at max 20 damage.

What are you buying as UK Atlantic? How much are you paying off the max damage IC?
Are you going after the Italian fleet and taking back Trans Jordan? Something else?

My newest Japan strategy. Do you worry about your fleet getting out of position trying to sack Calcutta? This strategy has almost your entire fleet back in SZ 6 end of J2 and Calcutta falls J6. (Or you can annihilate the Serbian army and then sack Calcutta turn 9)

Will do. However, I think he still holds out hope of taking Russia from the “backside” (using Japanese forces). Despite losing Tokyo, he has a ton of air and land in Asia.

He appears poised to make a last ditch effort at taking back Japan with his remaining ships off Siberia…if he fails, he will probably concede.

Even if he takes russia, if you can trade tokyo for another round ( even if he takes it, if you can take it back ) then he is in a world of hurt.
At least you got an objective for the anzac, liberating china :P

And he was off a few rounds with germany so if you just consolidate in moscow with all the US going after germany even if he takes moscow where is he going once he lost afrika.

But it does sound like you 2 had a good fun game where things went weird a few times.

Dutch are allies. You don’t need to convert these territories to uk or Anzac control to land fighters on them. The fighters can be landed the same turn as the troops.

Are you sure?  looking at the rules i see under Dutch Territories in the pacific rulebook that They are treated as friendly to allies except for UK/ANZAC guardianship.  under friendly neutrals it says you may not attack a friendly neutral or fly air units over it, but may move land units onto it in noncombat.

I assume friendly meant friendly neutral.  So we assumed that until the dutch territory has been controlled since the start of your turn by an ally, you can’t land on it.  I would love some clarification on this if anyone has it (preferably with a rule’s citation!)  thanks everyone!

I’m sure. Dutch aren’t friendly neutral. Although the rulebook doesn’t make this as clear as I would like. Most convincing bit is here:
