Hi Worsham. I know what I would have done, but Jeff Davis was West Point aristocracy, so would not have done any thing as radical.
I think after failing to take Knoxville, Longstreet was no longer flavour of the month, so he who helped win Chickamauga would have to be discounted. He was needed with his Eadtern Corps to save the day in the Wilderness. He was much missed and needed back there.
Cleburne would have been an excellent anti establishment choice. He had the necessary respect within his own corps, but he would have had to jump two ranks. I would have given the job to him. He would have allieviated the manpower problem by arming the slaves too. (Not sure Forrest would have stoic for that.)
Forrest too would have done a great job, but again he was far too junior in rank. He would have required a staff that he respected and who could explain logistics to him.(He would have understood, given his civilian background, I think.) He would probably have had to duel half the generals though! I think I would leave him as a Cavalry commander, but promote him to its head, above Wheeler.

Suspend reality at the door for a moment, and watch this trailer…

Then go Download the game, and NZA #2, and come play on Steam! This is one of the most fun games I have played in a while!
Would love to partner alongside any of you here!

I hate playing video games with a key board, any chance this would be one of the few titles compatible with my playstation 3?

On a related note, has anyone done a just-for-fun scenario for A&A where the Nazis unleash a zombie plague? Could have it so each unit killed contributes to the number of zombies. Maybe use pieces from this game: http://boardgamegeek.com/image/1875585/risk-the-walking-dead-survival-edition

The Nazi-zombie movie Shock Waves ventured into this territory way back in 1977.

I am downloading it right now. This type of game is right up my style. I play Left 4 dead every evening, this seems alot like that game.

I am not really into the 3rd person crap. I just played for 30 minutes COOP. I wish that junk could be reconfigured. I just want to shoot my Thompson straight on

I’m not a video game guy at all, but I love 3rd person shooters over 1st. I finished Resident Evil 4 like 5 times but I always spin around and walk into walls when playing Halo. I know that for experienced players, 1st person is more controllable than 3rd, but I can only control my dude using 3rd person.

Because the Nazi Zombies don’t go down without headshots… (they resurrect from body hits).
It keeps you behind the scope half of the time.
Great Co-op fun, and for the money, more entertaining than any zombie film I’ve seen in a while!

I also can’t get enough of this theme song LOL!

Ossel - I put something like this together in the house rules section a few years ago. Can’t seem to find the link though…
Found this while looking

No they can be killed using any weapon. they don’t come back latter. I hate snipers and always prefer sprayers.

Use the preacher.
Or get to some of the levels where there are fixed MG emplacements, that don’t overheat… :)
Love both 1&2, can’t get enough lately!

If you press LFT CTRL you can shoot the bolt action from the hip with no scope, with better accuracy than standard running.
