    I just noticed you landed Italian Fighters in a territory that was an Axis-friendly neutral at the start of Italy’s turn.  Is that allowed?

    “Air Units: An air unit must end its move in an eligible landing space. Air units can land in any territory that was friendly (but not friendly neutral) at the start of the current turn.”

    This will need to be corrected before I continue.

    my plan was to hold Iraq, without the fighters it is not possible if you commit maximal attack.

    But if I knew Italian fighters can’t land in Iraq… I would adjust my German round this way

    combat move:
    2 W Germany fighters -> Iraq (instead of Norway)
    2 Baltic States t.bombers -> Norway (instead of SZ115)
    my sub to SZ115 (instead of SZ113)

    non-combat move
    2 t. bombers from Norway to Finland
    1 fighter from Norway to W Germany (instead of Novgorod)

    placement
    2 mechs to W Germany, instead of Germany

    Overall it makes me 1 fighter short on each eastern and western front and adds 2 fighters to Middle East.
    We would need to reroll battle in SZ115 (1 DD + 1 sub + 1 t.bomber against your sub)… fortunately, you can only gain by rerolling SZ115.
    The battle in Norway, I would keep as was, as I only upgraded 2 fighters to t. bombers. So one of my dice improved from 3 to 4 but I don’t mind it.

    Since the situation on the eastern front is about the same (1 fighter short + 2 tac. bombers from Novgorod are in Finland now) I hope you don’t need any complex adjustments to your R5.

    If this is ok, please accommodate the edits (along with the 2 Italian fighters from Iraq to Jordan) and please reroll SZ115 on the thread.

  • I thought you might want to make additional changes.  Go ahead and edit in the changes and I’ll take a closer look at it, but I think it all sounds fine.  I don’t think you need to reroll sz115 your first roll at 3 was a hit, however, if you feel you need to then go ahead.


  • I think we have to reroll SZ115, it would be too simple to move unnecessary units from a battle somewhere else once you know the battle is secured with a smaller attack force.
