Kamikaze are a defensive weapon, which are resolved at the beginning of the combat phase, so the attacking air units have already launched from their carriers are not in danger (unless they are “guest” air units). As such, they will participate in combat even if their carrier is hit, and will have the remainder of their movement to land as normal afterwards.

I am blind, I am not seeing G40 2nd edition - nor for that matter, any G40 rules old or new.

Top link on this page takes you to the wizards download site. Then about halfway down, next to revised, there’s a grouping of like 10 that are all smashed together. Europe 40 2nd ed and Pacific 40 2nd ed are in that group.

Yea, I found it, the carriage returns were either not put in, or were erased turning it all into one big mess of a paragraph.
Thanks

So what a the difference between 1940.2 and alpha 3? I noticed Korea is now important in regards to the Soviet-Mongolian Defense Pact…
-
Yep. There’s that and the 1 UK infantry pulled from Egypt in Global.
-
I dont think the idea of second edition was to make changes, it was (imho) to codify alpha 3 into a “final” set of rules and maybe add in a tweak or two… Just my thoughts on it.

Hardly…… you can’t really call the removal of 1 UK infantry a tweak or two, it’s more like a little wee minor adjustment.

So for the online games here, which rule version are we using: 1940.2 or Ver. 3?
-
Is there a Wordpad friendly version of the rules?
I would like to print out a rulebook for each player in my upcoming game since it’s all our first times playing. If we all have a copy of the rules it will speed things along in the game.
This pdf is picture (ink) heavy and there are some unnecessary things I would take out.
Thank you.
