• I set up TripleA as advised in the stickied “How to play forum games using TripleA”-thread.

When initiating the Test-Post, the following error message occurs:

WARNING [Triplea, roll in seperate thread] HttpMethodBase->Going to buffer response body of large or unknown size. Using getResponseBodyAsStream instead is recommended.

  • Strange… when I was logged in on this forum, the error message occured and there was no effect in my test thread.

I tried again, not being logged in here - and the test succeeded.

But the error message is still the same…

    Any ideas?

  • Customizer

try using TripleA 1.5 or later versions, for play by forum

we rewrote the code for it

  • With 1500 no error message comes up, now.
    I used 1322 before.

What is the difference between Game-ID and Forum-ID-
I figured out that the Forum ID is the number of the thread.
    And the Game ID?

    Thanks for your help  :-)

  • Customizer

game id is only used for tourney games, to identify the game.
you’d have to ask someone who has done it before, on the TripleAWarClub

  • OK, thanks!

  • @Veqryn:

I found out that the game-ID is used to distinguish between different games on the dice server.
So every mail that returns from the server has the game-id at the beginning of the “Subject”.
