Triplea PBEM - Post Error

I recommend to finish current games with 2.6 and then start new games with 2.7.
Also, yes, all players should have the latest version installed.
2.7 is still in pre-status however.

Thanks for clarifying! I did not notice that. Yeah, a different background would definitely help.

My problem when searching for it was that the map was not looking the same as the boardgame; but you are right, when looking at it closer, I could see that the connections are the same…

Are you sure your friend is using the same triplea.jar file that you are using?
