Not that I’m an expert at women but I think with that avatar of yours you’re running a low risk profile in regards of getting “hooked up” here on the forum.
I worry about the female percentage in the poll, it keeps falling as more people are submitting their votes. If this continues we may end up with 0% women here. :-o

I have never known a female to have any interest what so ever in Axis and Allies, and I will believe it when I see it.
in fact, I’ve had fights with multiple girlfriends because my interest in AA sometimes is > my interest in them.
I agree I’ve run into a few on-line, but everyone knows on-line people aren’t real… especially women.
I don’t believe there are any women who play A&A.
Jen is just pretending to be female so “she” will stand out on the board.  :-D
And that is my story until I have in hand, first sight first hand, on site verification. :oops:

I don’t like meeting people from online. Though, I will be at GenCon again this year, as I am almost every year. (I missed last year, and 2002 because I was pregnant and didn’t want to deal with it.)
Anyone who wants to meet me there, we can set up something. Just bear in mind I don’t go to GenCon to play Axis and Allies, I play Dungeons and Dragons and I’m usually dressed up like Jeanne de Arc.

I am a man. All the girls and woman I know would rather have a root canal then play any form of the A&A game; however, my wife does have an unusual liking to video games. It has been my experience that not many girls and especially woman have the same level of intrest in video games as they do A&A games.

My wife will play video games ….AND she doesn’t mind the occasional game of AA. I got her hooked on Dr. Mario when we first started dating. It was not long until I couldn’t defeat her anymore. :-( Haven’t played the old SNES in a while. Though, I can talk her into playing Mario Kart: Double Dash, Animal Crossing (we were both addicted to this game :-D ), Mario Party 4, and Wario Ware on the Game Cube.
Like I said earlier, it’s the time commitment that is the biggest road block. I believe that most women like to play board games, but that they just want to play them for an hour or two at most and then do something else.
