I’m feeling good, thanks for asking. Do you have your own restaurant (as it being full mean being busy)?

Eight and a half years now. I worked with mr dad from graduation from Lancaster University in 91. When dad sold his large restaurant in 07, I opened my own, smaller one. We are Italian and have had Hereford’s only independent one for the last 25 years. Are plenty on Chain restaurants, of course.
I am lucky to be able to afford to only open 4 nights a week, yet make a living. Means I have time for my wife, 2 children and play.

Hereford took some googling to figure out where that was, never been in the region (of the UK never got any further than London). Having to work ‘just’ 4 days is nice! I’ve got an office job, 4 days as well and the extra day with my kid is nice (my wife works on that day).
