Second placed one, after a J1 Shanghai IC. Probably not until 4-5 though. I buy ships J2 -J4 and an AB, if I can.

I had to vote sometimes. While I often see Japan build an IC in FIC, I almost never see them put one in Malaya.
The question is worded wrong, you should have split FIC and Malaya. -

First one Always placed in Shanghai/Manchuria, second one goed FIC. Or Malaya but that’s a 1:10 situation over here.

My research question is specific to eligible IC territories below Hong Hong.

Yeah, I think it was the “or” that kind of messed me up. It’s just the way my brain works. If I have a choice of 2 places and 1 of them always gets an IC while the other never does, then to me that is an average of 50%. I just didn’t think of separating the two.

I feel like something between sometimes and always would fit well here. Because Japan will build there 90% of the time if it’s not getting whupped. But sometimes you get whupped.

It depends on my Japanese strategy employed. A FIC factory can be taken, especially if Russia is sending troops into China. It is a sometimes strategy, as sometimes you’re better served with the 10 IC bonus and factories farther north.

Great participation so far everyone, I guess it’s safe to say that Japan’s success has a lot to do with building an IC south of Hong Kong.
