I am a piece junkie, and I admit it - I have probably 10,000 Axis & Allies pieces in total. I have every color version that has come out, including lime green UK pieces.

Gray is the way to go. That way you can use the black pieces for Waffen SS.
No other wargame or representation other than AA has ever represented Germany as a black set of forces, except in Diplomacy, which is dealing with 1905 pre Great War.
Its time FMG puts the correct color back for Germany…. GREY, like in the old Milton Bradley days.
I hope Japan can go back to that Beige- Yellowish color too, but burnt orange is OK.

I agree with FMG these pieces won’t be used in conjunction with WOTC’s they will replace them.

FMG- I know you plan on doing both Black and Gray for the Germans, I was wondering if both colors will be done simultaneously, or will we have to wait for U.S. to be completed? Thank you.
Right now we are working on getting the Nations done and released as quickly as possible. SPECIAL EDITIONS will be released later.

Is that mid-late Feb refer to you getting the final samples for approval or to receiving the finished pieces for order fulfillment? Is this pushing back the Germany pieces timeline?
