@jkprince indeed 🙂
Thank you both for your interest!
In the end we will be vindicated!
Well spoken, Jeremy. Churchill spent much of WWII saying pretty much the same thing to the British people, and in the end he was proven correct.
What you said about your frustration with these unexpected developments (which we share and understand) reminds of something I read recently about another British Prime Minister who, after he was out of office, was asked what he had found to be the most difficult thing to deal with during his term of service. He answered, “Events, dear boy, events.”
No one is more anoyed than me. If anyone else is up to staking their companys reputation, spending $20,000.00 in hard earned money, and pulling their own hair out to try this undertaking…. and can do better. Please go ahead.
I am very frustrated with the factory.
However, you have to remember that unlike other companys, we are sharing the “inside story” with you here. Step by Step.
There is nothing we can do but wait for the process to run it’s course. In the end we will be vindicated!
go on!
Yeah, that is one really cool thing about this, Jeremy is giving us updates as we go along. Imagine if this were some other company. They would have talked about starting the Italian units over a year ago, way back in November 2009. Then nothing over all this time. Most of us would have even forgotten about the Italian units by now and wouldn’t even realize we were so close to getting them.
Keep your spirits up FMG, by keeping some people “in the loop” you’ve just allowed some to get too excited. They obviously have no idea of the scale of this project.
Hopefully I’ll be putting in my pre-order shortly. Need to find a way to print up a larger map for aniversary and revised. Anyone have any suggestions on how to do it?
Look at ILs maps. you might find something even better.
Just received some samples of Germany IN MY HANDS
There are some small revisions needed but here are some quick pics!
Enjoy

OH MAN! I love that the 2nd Infantry has a MP40. What happened to the heavy coat on the 1st Infantry?
So the 2 tanks sculpts are Tiger I and Tiger II? No Panzer III? Aw shucks. THey still look fabulous.
I’m surprised you went with the Stuka and Me109 (since WOTC went with those models). Still, YOUR Me109 looks incredible. The current ones will look like blank generic planes next to them. Love the Ju52. Can we get a better look at the bomber and tac?
ABSOLUTELY LOVE the Bismarck and Graf Spee.
MORE, MORE!! I WANT MORRRRE!!!

Awesome! I buy 2 sets of Germans! Black and grey German are available in the same time?
Thank you FMG; absolutely love all the new Germany pics. I too am surprised there is no PzKpfw III, but there you go.
The only thing I would mention at this point is that I think it would look much cooler if the JU87 Stuka had some landing gear, just to really make it stand out on the map. Even just partial struts would be fine. As it is now, the plane looks like it’s flat on the ground, and that doesn’t quite look so iconic.
If it’s too late to change this then no worries. Lovely work, keep it up! Thank you.
Oh yeah, I forgot about that. The Stuka HAS to have landing struts. The landing gear on the Stuka were fixed, not retractable. It won’t quite look right without them. I hope you can fix that. It’s a minor error, but an error none the less.

Awesome! I buy 2 sets of Germans! Black and grey German are available in the same time?
The black Germans won’t be available until all the other major nations are complete. Then they will work on “specialty” units. I believe the black German pieces will be considered SS units while the grey are regular Wehrmacht.
No PZIII? Hmm….
There are some revisions to these, re Stuka etc…
If they are in the back ground in means that they need revision.
