• good!

  • This is what they told me via email today:

You are currently on the list to receive a corrected battle strip. You do not need to send the misprinted strip in. Once the battle strips have arrived, we will begin sending out replacements to customers who have requested them. We will also send out additional Japanese Tactical Bombers at the same time. We appreciate your patience and understanding while we resolve this issue.

OK how did you get on this list?
Does email suffice or did you call customer service?

  • I would call to make sure. That’s usually a best bet

  • I sent an email to check if mine were sent out. My question was classified as “solved”…

  • I sent customer service an email asking for the correct battle board and the bombers.  Thats how I got on the list

  • I just got a reply from WotC saying that they DID want the ‘defective’ battlestrip sent in since it would be ‘proof of purchase’….What a pain, especially since it looks like I’ll be snowed in for the forseeable future. :/

  • "Hello Liu,

I can confirm that we have your information and that you are indeed going to be receiving the correct Battle strip and 6 Japanese tactical bombers within the next couple weeks.

  • Got the same response by phone- they sent mine out already.

  • Well if its anything like my missing chinamen, it will be a while before you see it.
I’m at 3 weeks since they told me it “shipped”.  I asked them where it was, “we don’t have tracking numbers”, then I asked them how much longer should I wait before I assume it’s lost, “Wait another 2 weeks, then call back if you haven’t seen them”.    :|

I got a response from them today saying that they just started shipping them out, and that I should receive mine in 2-4 weeks.  Yay!  Although the waiting won’t be fun.

  • All you need to do is mail your old (inaccurate) battle-strip (as proof of purchase) and a return address to:

    Wizards of the Coast
    Attn: Product Replacement
    P.O. 707
    Renton, Washington 98057-0707

The customer service guy I talked to on the phone also mentioned that I should probably include a note requesting a new battle-board and the extra Japanese TBs, just in case.

    Happy Rumbling,

Actually that’s too bad about having to return the old strip.

    Wanted to save some postage!

  • I have not received any information about returning the damaged battle strip

I was told mine would be shipped shortly and they never mentioned my incorrect battle strip
