Asking because in the other two games we played, you made sure to capture it to prevent UK from landing air there. We can fix it via edit if you want (in that case, just move 2 Fighters/1 Bomber back to UK and 1 Fighter to Syria)

Just wondering, where is the return fire of the German submarines in both naval battles?

@VictoryFirst I was under the impression that you were not allowed to pick and choose which submarines submerged. Is that incorrect?

Yes it works differently
So the submarines that survived will submerge instead of rolling back. However the submarines that are killed aren’t able to submerge, and will therefore roll back. -

@VictoryFirst Your second screenshot does not appear to be from the AAE rulebook but one of the combat examples in the rulebook clearly shows that you are allowed to fire back with any hit submarines (as if the Germans needed even more advantages than they already had lol):
