I have to say BM/PtV have really spoiled me on just how much more space there is between some of the objectives like Moscow and Berlin; India and Japan. I’m not respecting the Axis enough and it’s already looking a bit grim to my eye

After a miserable first round attack roll and a good 2nd round roll, the allies have 1 unit remaining in Z39
I don’t want to assume on this one, could be ANZ fighter, UK fighter, UK battleship
First round the mighty Japanese only scored 2 hits, so damaged the capital ships.
Will most likely need a casualty choice in Mongolia too, you might be able to give me advanced instructions to facilitate play, or not.
-
@gamerman01 the battleship will survive
-
Max Defense in Ulaanbaatar. Lose the us bomber first.

Thank you much for timely answers, will be nice to be able to complete my move without a delay ->

The game history is a mess, sorry
Precious few times playing Axis in the last several years
You took down 6 planes and almost 7
I guess I destroyed 7 aircraftLooks like you and I know how to fight a war!
Clear out all those extra units, then easier to move. -
I’ve always been more comfortable operating with 10 planes than 20.
Played a lot of games in the AA50 days. -
Watch your income collection for India.
TripleA says you’ll collect 11 but it looks like it should be 14. It’s like it’s not counting the Celebes or something.Last turn looks OK.
-
It looks like it’s going to give the 3 from Celebes to London instead of India, but we’ll see after you get to the end of the UK turn
-
Precious few times playing Axis in the last several years
6 times since 1/1/16
-
@gamerman01 wow, that is very few. Eager to look at the board position. At a friends birthday party now. I will be drunk soon. Cooking steaks 😍
More commentary tomorrow (and sober decisions)
-
Nice
A&A is more fun for me when both sides are doing interesting things and attacking with abandon.
I like fewer units on the board so I can figure out what to do faster -
@gamerman01 You are correct. It looks like I used edit mode after the turn was over to move the transport and infantry. But then I changed the territory owner to British instead of UK Pac. However I edited the IPCs to UK Pacific so didn’t notice right away.
-
Very interesting position for the Japanese here, no money islands except Borneo, fleet is stretched thin. US has a high chance to take out a huge part of the fleet off Malaya. Will it be worth it? Getting those two transports would be huge, I think I’ll have to try.
-
I want less units on the board!
-
@gamerman01 Long Range Aircraft for the Germans last round is really going to put both the Med and the Russian front in serious peril, your fighters and tacs in Greece can reach 92 without an airbase, while also threatening Bryansk with new fighters built in W. Germany. Something it seems I overlooked while doing my Russia moves. Perhaps the US can get a lucky tech and save the day!
-
Among other things that I know, I know we will have fun breaking things
