Power Eliminated

The reason why I posted this in the first place is that I am writing an Android app to keep track of IPCs and needed to know when to skip a player that might have been eliminated from the game. With the response that I received from Panther the program determines if the the Power has any IPCs and if not it goes to the Combat phase bypassing the Purchase phase.

You probably can consider the power eliminated then under your definition. However you need to come up with a way to “reinstate” the power in case its capital gets liberated.

That is close to what the rules say:
"The original controller of the captured capital is still in the
game but can’t collect income from any territories he or she
still controls and can’t buy new units. The player skips all but
the Combat Move, Conduct Combat, and Noncombat Move
phases until the capital is liberated. " -
Panther, thanks that explains another question I had concerning if when a power looses its capital does the IPCs of the territories it still holds go into some kind of escrow until the capital is liberated. So you skip the Income Phase for that power and record 0 IPCs. Good to know.

Meaning that they accumulate IPCs even when their capital is overrunned. So no IPCs for the vanquished!

I still don’t understand. A power cannot collect income on any rem territories they have after their capital is overrun, and they lose all IPCs they have at hand.

The above response is what I was referring to where after you cleared that up I acknowledged that they get 0 IPCs. You must’nt have read this before your last responses.
