    Round 2 in SZ93 really hurt, but was fortunately evened out by the miss in SZ 95 and last round miss in SZ93. Otherwise pretty bad dice for Germany that round overall.


  • Agree. I needed that pretty bad. Heavy losses in Normandy, blunts good Paris attack.
    Russians have some time to build up. Egypt is doomed and I don’t know what to do about it. I might feel like a cornered animal and attack, don’t know yet.
    You’re wise to move AA into Normandy, I would probably have tried it.

  • It’s a problem. Had to suck everything close to London and super lucky to take down 5 planes. Will have to assess later, but as tempting as it is to flop onto the 3 units, might have to take a shot at stack with 3 German air. Don’t know yet


  • I think your G1 and losing no planes, buying ships makes it hard to keep much in Egypt. I’m just glad you can’t get a German ground unit there too fast. Hoping to regroup and fight for Egypt later. Not going to risk Alexandria - Italians will just swoop in anyway. Take the safe way to squash 3 to the South

  • Building the airbase that turn might have been a poor choice. A little squeamish about inviting the combo attack, it’s just always hard to allow a situation where the dice could crush you.

  • Right, that’s why I bought it, but wondering if I actually wanted the Italians to attack it and the Germans to airstrike it. Doesn’t matter now!


  • OK… I think almost all of FRANZAC’s units are already committed, so this should be easy. No rush for G3, but whatever. Might be able to finish an R3 sooner than I think.

  • You’re right, I didn’t know the sub had a path to 89 and I got lucky. Realized the cruiser wasn’t safe at Hawaii and went back through the canal. Although it would have been fine at Hawaii because it takes a sub or 2 to go get it, and then they can’t go to 6 or anywhere else and they will be destroyed if I don’t move everything a different direction.

    So basically I was bailed out by those 2 dice after my cluelessness with that cruiser

    I like how you got a mech from Normandy to Norway - I thought drawing it in to Normandy I’d be keeping it away from Russia for a few turns, but with no English fleet, the German transport goes wild on me! Well played
