    .

    U pulled out a great plan to go for 6 VC in the Pacific and I had no choice but to counter it, and like in chess when U sacrifice a pown for the greater good.

  • @Amon-Sul Its not so much I was surprised, but I was certainly hoping you wouldn’t. Persia was the critical one and you are right that it could go badly for you and still well enough to do what you needed it too. Sending units to Kazakhstan was, in hindsight a blunder on my part since it made that Persia attack a safer one for you. I’m not sure if the pacific victory was really possible in any case but I thought it was worth trying for. And Caroline certainly paid off for you but I thought that was the least likely since it was 50/50 and winning it wouldn’t protect Hawaii.

    I’ll probably play through the next round at least, but will need a day or two to think this through. I haven’t had a chance yet to properly take a look.


  • Well it is hard to tell could Axis won the game in the Pacific. The thing is USA has a big navy and a lot of money. It would be hard for Japan to keep Honolulu, and especially both Honolulu and Manilla, Shanghai, Hongkong.

    My inital plan was to finish Kazahstan stack in an air straffe from Iraq, but bad dices in Persia (lost 4-5 units more then average) forced me not to go for that move.

  • @Amon-Sul its very likely that this game should end in the next week or so. And I’m certainly up to playing again. But I’m not sure on my timing yet. I’d suggest starting a game with another opponent now. And during the xmas break or in the new year, I should be up for starting another one.
