Wow, first of all, grats to AD, well played.
But I am surprised, you already threw the towel. G/I is indeed powerful but with Japan losing control over China and no route to take India, I would have continued to fight as long as Russia is not under direct threat. Germany neglected reinforcements against Russia for some turns and Allies still had a significant edge in turn of units on the map and also an income edge with imo does not inevitly lead to Axis economic domination.
Maybe, the Allies would have died a slow death but I still saw potential by the fact that Japan would rather decline than gain in the next turns against Chinese that were on the doorstep to become out of control.
It is my most premature resignation on league. I estimate my chances to win at like 5%, I usually resign when it’s 1%. I just didn’t see a way to win without dice, and Archangel was a disaster.
Can I ask one thing: Why not attack Italy UK1? Or block it out? If nothing is done, Italy normally takes Egypt I2, which is bad for the allies isn’t it? Am I getting to worried about that?
I’ve noticed other high level players do that too and I don’t understand it.
One thing this game does show is that non standard strategies can work, even as Axis. I3/J3 DOW is pretty different, but successful here.

It was possible to hit Tobruk but that would have allowed one of the SZ106 subs to live because you would have needed the Cruiser to hit SZ96 and also cost a fighter for London defense. Perhaps London would have fallen then.
