  • I made a mistake in SZ112 and forgot to land units into Tuamotu in the combat move phase. I haven’t edited a game file before though. Not a big deal, but maybe if @FMErwinRommel wants to edit that in before making his move? I’m fine to leave it as is too if that is more fair. Good luck to all (especially my allies)!

  • @simon-tressel I used your edited version. No problem with editing forgotten combat since it was unopposed. If you forget to do a combat move resulting in a battle where there are defenders, you need to announce it and do forum dice, preferably before finishing combat turn and before purchasing, but at least before completing your turn.
    You didn’t use pbem. We always want that.
    Since no one else has volunteered to receive Marti dice emails besides Witt, I will add my email address when I take France/Serb turn.


  • @simon-tressel Nice to have a new player with new strategy or perspective. You attacked just the F fleet in Pacific, which guaranteed a strong surviving fleet. We always spread the attack against both F & UK, which in my case as G, I would often lose one of the two battles.
    Usually, G sinks both Canadian fleets, but it was due for G to finally lose one of those battles.

    Ahh, I see. I used the play by forum instead. I can switch to PBE if that’s better. The original game save from my post has the email and forum things filled out I think.

    Since no one else has volunteered to receive Marti dice emails besides Witt, I will add my email address when I take France/Serb turn.

    I believe it did send the dice emails to @Witt and @dawgoneit as I filled those in (Dawg consented to receiving the emails again somewhere).


  • @simon-tressel I will fill in Witt and Dawg emails when I take F/S turn. Dawg did agree to receive the Marti emails. If you use PBEM and save from there, it will automatically fill in the same emails for the next player to use.


  • @simon-tressel PBF is okay as well as PBEM. Both send marti dice rolls to those nominated. We all used to use PBF but some of us (well, me at least!) started getting error messages and switched to PBEM. It is less convenient than PBF as you have to manually copy and paste your game turn view and also save and upload the game file. So if PBF is working for you then carry on using it.

  • @simon-tressel You confused me because your edited game didn’t show Marti dice email addresses. So, I opened your save game before edits and saw the PBF layout. I hadn’t used PBF before, only PBEM. Guess it’s working now with version 2.6
