  • LOL that’s a blunder on my part to agree to this. The random rolling of convoy damage is better for the convoy attacker.

    Assuming the Allies do more convoy attacking than the Axis, I think we found a way to reduce bids in OOB

    No, I realize now it’s more subtle than that. It’s good for the defender to know how much the damage will be, and the impossibility of a sub getting more than 2 damage is protection for the attacked. Although the average damage will be more with the automatic, taking away the randomness does make the convoy ships/planes less menacing
