I need to stop and ask casualty choice for 2nd round attack
1st round, I had ONE sub hit and two other hits, and I assigned hit to battleship and to carrier, sunk 1 destroyer - SAD
Your defense was bad, too, 3 hits instead of like 5
I sunk carrier and hit to battleship (panicked after bad first round roll)Now after an abyssmal 0/6 on subs, I actually score 4, so overall less than average.

I probably should have waited for your round 1 choice, because you could lose both destroyers so that I couldn’t choose subs to plane casualties round 2, but you have enough ships I don’t think that would be the way to go. So I hope I didn’t already assume what I shouldn’t have, especially since you’re online

My plan was to focus on land units for Germany (slow movers G1 and fast movers subsequently) to push towards Moscow and/or Caucuses.
I was intending a J2 DOW, but your moves made that undesirable so switched to a muddled J3.
After that I was mostly playing for speed so it may have gotten a bit (more) sloppy. -
Observations,
G1 - I think 2 men should not stay in Norway but go to Finland
Not necessarily wrong, but is less pressure on Russia
G1 - G2 Declaration of War is very effective, doesn’t need to be a G3
G1 - Holding the battleship back, saving all 10 planes by overwhelming 110 and using 2 subs is a strong move - well doneI1 - Tank to South France diminishes pressure on Russia. Maybe tank was needed because all air used to attack 97
G2 - Maybe too many ground units west to Normandy and Holland, delays pressure on Russia. 4 mech total delayed
G2 - fighter + transport buy relieves some pressure on Russia
I2 - The pressure on Egypt evaporated. You had something going there
J3 - Left Z6 vulnerable and let the Carolines go. There is great pressure on India, but a little pressure was left off
G4 - a little nitpicky, but these things can make a big difference - Submarine in 125 is not needed because Russia isn’t getting the NO
J4 - That much movement into China (away from India) is going in the wrong direction. Pressure on India (and Russia) is extremely important even if you can’t take them down soon, it pins down more Allied defenses
I4 - Not sure why ftr/bmb on North Italy (no airbase). Airstrike of Holland (again nitpicky) probably not needed because Germany has air. I don’t think the Italian tank should go to Belarus. 2 tanks went to Yugo and not Romania, less pressure on Russia and not needed west. I would probably take the tank from West Ukraine to take Ukraine instead of go to Belarus, and if the Russian infantry hits, lose a plane. Then Germans move to Ukraine
So overall, the one Italian can opener tank would be killed on Belarus, and the other 2 are on Yugoslavia.But also note, few consider this tactic - sending a medium stack of German infantry from Leningrad to Belarus while having the main German army in WUK can be a great idea because otherwise the medium stack sits in Leningrad to avoid destruction. The Russians often can’t deal with the big stack and the smaller one at the same time. A&A players are programmed to not get involved in negative TUV trades, but this is Global.
I was able to pounce on Belarus and still defend Bryansk, but barely. I had to have high odds on Belarus so your 2 mech on Leningrad couldn’t also threaten Bryansk, and I had to let the mech in Smo go.You played quite well, and I had to draw on my experiences to survive.
